Transfer Process & Location
TRANSFERS ARE EASY
Once you have completed your online purchase, inform your seller that you would like to use 'Wolverine Defensive Firearms' as your FFL transfer agent. Then send us an email with your purchase info along with the sellers contact info so we can send our FFL license to the seller.
We ask that at some point you email or text a picture of your driver's license and CPL to us so we can start the paperwork.
Once your purchase arrives we will contact you by both email and telephone to let you know that it is in and to schedule an appointment for you to complete the transfer paperwork. This usually takes 5-10 minutes.
Note: All customers now must undergo a background check using the FBI Instant Check system. The cost for this is included in the $40 fee, however if you fail the background check, an additional $10 fee is charged immediately and additional costs may also be imposed for return shipping or storage as described on the Services page.
