CPL Transfers
All transfers (handguns and long guns) are now $40/firearm.
This includes the production of the 'Pistol Sales Record' if you are transferring a handgun. The $40 fee includes all costs other
than a trigger lock which typically comes with all new firearms.  You may also bring your own trigger lock or locking container
if you wish. We sell trigger locks as well for $10.  (Bring your own :-)  )
Non-CPL Transfers
The transfer fee for non-CPL holders is $40/firearm which includes the FBI background check and the production of the
'Pistol Sales Record' if you are transferring a handgun. If we are not able to transfer the firearm because you fail the background
check, additional fees apply (see below). The $40 fee includes all costs other than a trigger lock which typically comes with
all new firearms.  You may also bring your own trigger lock or locking container if you wish. We sell trigger locks as well for $10.

Failed Background Check  (ATF: Denied)
If the FBI background check results in a 'Denied' status, you will not be able to take possession of the firearm and will need to make arrangements to return the firearm. 
The fee for failed/denied background check is $50. 
If the firearm is not returned within 10 days, additional storage fees will apply as listed on this page.

Storage Fees
We will contact you immediately after the firearm arrives at our office and is 'checked-in'.  We ask that you pick up your purchase
within a few days of its' arrival for we have limited space in our safe.  We charge a 'storage fee' of $5/day for any firearm left in
our care for more than 7 days after we contact you.  Please pick up your firearms promptly!  If a firearm is not picked up for
180 days it will be considered abandoned and sold or destroyed.

Outbound Firearm Shipping
We are happy to ship out firearms you have sold as well.  We charge $40 for the 1st firearm and $25 for each additional firearm
shipped at the same time to the same address for boxing and paperwork, plus the actual UPS shipping charges.  We will
require a copy of the receiving FFL's license prior to shipping.  Insurance is optional.

Wolverine Defensive Firearms does NOT sell firearms online.  A 'scam' company using a VERY similar name to ours and using some of our company information is trying to sell guns on online. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!  

We provide amazing firearm transfers for people who live in the State of Michigan.  We do not sell any firearms online, we only provide transfer services to those that purchase firearms online from OTHER websites.
